A warm, light earth tone for dusty filters, sun-fading, and sandy wear. The Buff Weathering Pencil is water-based and blendable, letting you build subtle, realistic dust and light dirt exactly where it would settle—then soften it with a damp brush for smooth transitions.
What it does
Creates natural dust deposits on lower panels, bases, boots, and terrain
Works as a soft fade/highlight filter to lighten edges and reduce contrast
Perfect for arid environments: sand, dry roads, desert basing effects
How to use
Apply directly on a matte surface for best control.
Blend with a slightly damp brush to spread the pigment into a dusty veil.
Layer lightly—Buff looks most realistic in 2–3 thin passes.
