AK Weathering Pencil – Dark Grey (AK10004)
A deep grey tone for stronger grime, heavy wear, and darker panel definition without going full black. Dark Grey is excellent for grimdark models and industrial scenery where you want punchy shadows and lived-in surfaces.
 
What it does
Creates convincing grime shadows in recesses, vents, and panel lines
Adds realistic scratches and worn edges on armor plates and machines
Great for soot-like buildup when blended into streaks and stains
 
How to use
Apply on a matte surface along edges, seams, and recesses.
Blend with a slightly damp brush to soften and spread the grime naturally.
Build in layers—keep most areas soft and concentrate the darkest tone in corners.
