Vallejo Game Color: Gold Yellow 
A rich, warm golden yellow for armour panels, banners, cloth, heraldry, flame highlights, and fantasy details. Brighter than ochre, warmer than standard yellow, and very useful for heroic tabletop colour schemes.

How to use
Apply over a primed surface; ivory, white, or light grey primer gives the brightest yellow result.
Shake well, then apply 2–3 thin coats instead of one thick coat.
Shade carefully with sepia, orange-brown, or ochre wash only in the recesses.
Re-layer Gold Yellow on raised areas, then highlight with a lighter yellow or a tiny touch of ivory.

ChalkyDot Tip: For yellow that stays strong, start from a light base, build Gold Yellow in thin layers, and keep your shading controlled in the recesses. Too much wash over yellow can make it muddy, so re-layer the raised areas after shading.
