AK Weathering Pencil – Sand (AK10019)
A light sandy tone for arid dust, desert basing, and pale dirt deposits. Sand is ideal for creating dry environment weathering—use it as a soft filter, a dust layer, or a light ground tone on terrain and vehicles.
 
What it does
Adds realistic sand dust on lower panels, bases, boots, and terrain edges
Works as a blended pale filter to unify and “dry out” a paint scheme
Great for desert roads, ruins, and sun-baked ground effects
 
How to use
Apply on a matte surface in dust collection areas.
Blend with a slightly damp brush to spread into a smooth sandy veil.
Layer in thin passes and keep it strongest near the ground.
 
Best for
Desert bases, arid terrain, dusty vehicles, cloth and boots, ruins, dry earth scenes.
