AK Weathering Pencil – Sepia (AK10026)
A warm brown tone for shading, grime, aged staining, and classic “wash” effects—but with pencil control. Sepia is fantastic for adding depth to light colors, giving cloth and leather a lived-in look, and warming up highlights without turning them grey.
What it does
Creates natural brown shading in recesses and around details
Adds aged stains on cloth, parchment, leather, and bone tones
Works as a soft grime layer on stone, wood, and weathered surfaces
How to use
Apply on a matte surface where you want shadows or stains.
Blend with a slightly damp brush to turn marks into smooth gradients.
Build slowly—sepia looks best when it’s subtle and layered.
Best for
Leather pouches, cloth folds, parchment/scrolls, bone and ivory, warm shading on minis, terrain staining.
