AK Weathering Pencil – Streaking Dirt (AK10025)

A dirt tone made for vertical grime streaks, rain marks, and dragged-down dust on armor panels, vehicles, and scenery. The Streaking Dirt Weathering Pencil gives you precision placement like a pencil, with the ability to blend and shape the streaks using water for a natural, worn finish.

What it does

  • Creates realistic rain streaks and grime trails from bolts, rivets, and panel lines

  • Adds dragged dirt on walls, tanks, industrial terrain, and sci-fi armor plates

  • Helps build layered “used” surfaces without flooding the model like a wash

How to use

  • Mark small lines under details (bolts, vents, edges) on a matte surface.

  • Pull downward with a slightly damp brush to form the streak.

  • Repeat with a few varied lengths and intensities for a natural, random look.

Best for
Vehicles, mech armor, industrial terrain, ruin walls, sci-fi panels, grimdark weathering, rainy battlefield effects.

Key details

  • Water-based
  •  Highly controllable
  •  Blendable with water
  •  Easy cleanup
  •  Best results on matte finishes.

ChalkyDot Tip
Make streaks look real by keeping them uneven: some short, some long, and leave a few almost invisible—nature never repeats the same line.
